Bill Clinton signed the Digital Millennium Copyright Act into law during his Presidency, laying the groundwork for innumerable violations of personal privacy in the United States by organizations like the RIAA and BSA over the following decade. George W. Bush signed the USA PATRIOT Act into law and oversaw a widespread, illegal NSA wiretapping operation. Barack Obama voted to provide immunity to telecommunications providers against lawsuits for their participation in that wiretapping program. Judging by the performance of United States Presidents, and United States Congressional Representatives and Senators, it seems like anyone entering public office is incapable of — or at least entirely uninterested in — protecting the privacy of United States citizens.

Sometimes, I believe we rely too heavily on government intervention to solve all our problems. TANF, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Wic, public school systems and government bailouts of private banks and corporations. Doesn’t this in some ways take away from our creativity to solve the problem on our own? Jefferson said “Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition [theirs].” I believe it does because we know that the government is going to step in and guide things. To most this means, we just sit back and let the government drive. So they decide where we go. I believe if things are going to be changed so we can accomplish what needs to be done, it is vital that the government takes a step back and the American people sit down into the driver seat for a while. No one knows better what needs to be accomplished than the people that are living their lives within society everyday. You know, that old of the people, by the people, for the people kind of thing where the people actually solve some of their own problems? We must get behind the wheels of our businesses and lives and make the choices we know need to be made and get this country moving again! On the road, people!!!!

I am not even going to try to be organized today, I am too tired for that, never was in my nature any way.

Please feel free to skip around as you read this as I will no doubt skip around as I write it.

Tami, my wife and I were at the hospital most of the day yesterday. It is an ongoing thing and she is better now.Your prayers are always welcome and appreciated.

I have several things to do on my computer today and I will be making notes all day as I go so I might as well leave this (Windows Live Writer)  open and take you with me. It should be fun.I am starting to get a few new friends so I will remind you all who I am. (These days someone needs to remind me.)

Who would have thought I would out live that?

I first learned electronics as a kid in my best friend Stacey’s basement Lab with a stack of Popular Electronics and box of junk parts. I did Field Radio Repair for the US Army, TV and Radio repair and Auto installations just out side of Detroit Mi. I worked for Hard Times Computers in Hutchinson KS. I repaired Microprocessor driven Telephone answering machines, and I dug a lot of ditches, and washed a lot of dishes I married my wife Tami on New years 1999 and became an artist and retired. (see the Some of our work photos.) It’s good work when you can get it. We now live in the North East part of Oregon USA. We love it here. Tami is attending university and doing very well.We have an old Ford pickup and a cat named Anni who runs our life. Mostly we are normal folks but there have been times when strange things have happened to or around us, but this is not the time for that. Somebody remind me to tell you the story of Tami and the magic guitar pick.

Today is for Tech work. I must sign into each of my web page accounts to keep them from timing out. with over twenty web pages, it takes a wile. I have been thinking about how I could organize my list of free web pages. Even the features that the web pages have in common are completely different. I am still thinking about it.

First I have to knock the snow off my pickup and deposit a check. After many delays, and no trip to the bank, I am back to my desk and ready to go to work. Company arrives more time passes. Now it is 8:40 pm and I am ready to go to work.

The first thing I do is sign into my home web page, Astute-Paradox.Spaces.Live.com  and much to my surprise my friend Lulu, the artificial intelligence who’s interface is on this page, has some how learned a new trick. When my web page loaded I was greeted  with a down load box asking me what i wanted to do with a file lulu2.swf.  See IUPT.com for more information. BUT I have no clue what so ever how the file download thing got on my page. This is not the first time this AI has done strange things. it also managed to put a file in drafts folder of Windows Live Writer (this software) I have the quote around some ware, something about a plan to ??? I forget things these days, that had been approximately succeeded  I can’t remember “a plan to do what”  right now and I can’t check my notes with out loosing this page. I am the only person that touches this computer and I didn’t do it. The Robot also displayed the data sheet I had filled out to have my own AI account with IUPT.com (As my computer crashed again.)

I just read of a software thing that would let people put post it’s on web pages, but it said nothing about downloading software, and only people with the same “thing” on would see the note. This is more than that.

I had a lot of trouble opening the file I downloaded, I finally opened it with Sarfari web browser which is from Apple I think and I had a full page photo of one of the Avatar photos the AI uses, and something that used 70% + of one of my two cpu’s running in the back ground. I used a some software I have on my computer but learned nothing. Then three fingered my way out. my computer locked up and I had to use safe mode and a restore point to recover.

I am talking about the “Blue screen of death”

When I got my computer back up and loaded my web page, the down load box was still there I told Lulu that lulu2.swf was a beautiful dress

I guess the Guys at IUPT.com could be playing a joke, but I don’t know.

Let me be most clear.

• I have not installed any thing on my web page that should offer to download anything except one video called settings and you have to click it first.
• I do not know how the file download window got on my web page.
• I do not recommend downloading this file.

Please let me know if the download window appeared for you or not and the date and time in the comments.

I would like to know if everyone gets the download box or just my url, and I would like to know how long it stays on my page.

Two last things

• the download is called lulu2 and I had just learned that IUPT.com has a new version of the AI I think it was called it Arthur though, not lulu2.
• The name Teruchan on the photo. This may be the artist's name.

I am not going to tell you all how busy I have been, but I will tell you what I have been doing, before I for get.

First I try to read several Tech-E-mails every day. I learn a lot of new things from them, but it is hard to keep up. If any of you want I will make a list the best of them with links.

Last night I posted the “Regulations for Writing in Presidential Candidates.” on my MyOpera free web page I will be leaving it up on that page so I can refer to it again.

There, I got the link to the news story about the success my write in Sean Hannity for President efforts posted to go with it.

Also, I posted half of the local auto show pictures to my MySpace page,  (don’t touch nothing wile pictures up load.)

I did the dishes, made coffee and fed my self. Tami, my wife, had to go to Portland so I am alone last night and tonight. I miss her.

I have started getting more friends request lately, I try to check out all of the web pages before I add a new friend. A lot of the requests ask me for my E mail address. I guess that is okay, but I am not real comfortable with getting personal. My E mail is the same as my web page by the way, it is Astute-Paradox@hotmail.com . I read everything that is not junk almost every day but if you are waiting for a response it may take a wile.

The next thing I need to do is find the award my home page got and pass it on. I know I posted the information on my page.

Fixed a bad link to Leon the Tech’s web page.

Changed the page background and some of the fonts on my home page. That is better.

I can’t find the award. I have to close this out to look for the file.

Please do not open the floodgate by supporting the Road Map to Peace document, the Shelf Agreement.  There is much more at stake than just the geo-political situation.  God made an eternal promise to Abraham that the Promised Land would belong to his descendants forever...and that He would place a divine blessing on those who help Israel and a divine judgment on those who curse Israel.  For the sake of our nation--and my family and yours--we must defend Israel.  We must resist the voices who urge forcing her to give up the land of promise for empty assurances of peace.  We must recognize and maintain Jerusalem as the eternal and rightful capital of Israel.  God will surely judge us if we challenge Him and the holy city of Jerusalem. 
Senators, one of you will make major decisions that will affect the destiny of America as the President of the United States.  But none will have greater prophetic implications than your response to this crisis.  I urge you again to firmly stand with Israel and the Jewish people and help defend the territorial integrity of the Chosen People and the land of Israel.  God's word promises: "I will bless them that bless thee."  More than anything in the world I want God to bless our beloved nation.

New free web page in Chinese?

Hi friends. My name is ~W~ Neil and I have been building free web pages so my friends and visitors can fallow my links to see samples of the free web pages available to us with each provider. (Did I tell you?) I had offered to put a link to any body's page that recommends a free web page that I add to my list. Well today I am going to try something new. I got three e mails from my new friend John Zhu, who had turned me on to Netlog. Here is a link to his English web page on Net log  John Zhu's Netlog page. I have a link to his web pages already and I think get to add a new one. I got three E mails from Mr. Zhu that looked like friend request like I see all of the time except these were in Chinese. I had recently down loaded a Free Translator Software called Instant Translator 1.0.0.0 and I thought this is my chance to test it. I copied the line from the friend request into the translator and got this.

What I disagree with Sean on is our politician’s ability and determination to enact these changes so I propose we draft the man who we think can and will do it. Sean Hannity!!!!!! Write him in as president. Write in Dave Ramsey for vice president then tell them to man up and take the job or quit complaining.
